Construction Update for INDOT’s U.S. 36 / S.R. 67 / Broadway Project through Fortville:

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone Contractors announces that water line installation on U.S. 36 / S.R. 67 / Broadway in Fortville will begin on or after Monday, Feb. 5.

Due to the work of the water line installation, Main Street (next to Bettagere Orthodontics) will no longer have access to U.S. 36. Work is expected to be complete by mid-April, weather permitting.

INDOT says the project is still scheduled to be completed at the end of November 2024.

During this time, INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution, and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
