The Town of Fortville Parks Department has an opening for full-time employment to assist in the daily operations and maintenance as well as programming of Fortville Parks. The position will be year-round, 40-hour week and a starting pay of $22.58 per hour. Applicants must be 18+ years old, have a high school diploma, equivalent GED, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Tasks will include but not limited to:
• Grass Mowing
• Vegetation Trimming
• Weed Removal
• Landscape Mulching
• Trash Clean-Up
• Janitorial Tasks
• Event Set-Up and Clean-Up
• Parks Programming with an emphasis on planning and executing programming.
