This community park is a large natural park situated at the junction of Stottlemeyer Ditch and Jackson Ditch that create its rolling hillsides and running water. Many large trees make this an ideal park setting for picnicking, hiking, walking, etc. The park also has many facilities for active recreation as well as playground equipment.

Waterways

Jackson Ditch flows through Fortville Memorial Park, just south of the paved entry road into the park. Stottlemeyer Ditch forms the north boundary of Fortville Memorial Park. It is these ditches/creeks and the adjacent banks and vegetation, which create the natural setting of this park.
