The Flying Toasters perform a non-stop block party experience celebrating Independence Day in Fortville, Indiana! Part of a seven-part FREE Fortville Summer Concert Series, this show happens outside on Saturday July 7th, on Noel Avenue, in historic downtown Fortville. The concert kicks off just after the Independence Day parade, and wraps up in time for another spectacular fireworks show in Landmark Park. 

Bring your lawn chairs and have an exciting night of live music. All ages welcome. FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale will be hosting outdoor food and drinks nearby; in addition to local restaurants and area food trucks. Also check out Fortville’s local shops and street markets happening on the 7th.

Join us to celebrate the fading skylines of rural Indiana, our grain elevators also on Thursday July 19th. This event will coincide with the Fortville Summer Concert Series featuring Henthorn performing in adjacent Landmark Park from 7-10 p.m.

Hancock County resident, Cathleen Huffman’s  grain elevator project attained Legacy Project status as part of Indiana’s Bicentennial celebration. Her collection of water colors give life to once vibrant structures now forgotten.

The event will take place in the shadow of Fortville’s grain elevator in the heart of town, where a portion of Cathleen’s collection will be on display. An interactive watercolor table will give attendees of all ages the opportunity to paint their own grain elevator. One of a kind Fortville watercolor pieces will be on sale during the event, and Cathleen will be attending to speak about her works of art.

 

Local musicians 90 Proof Band wrap up our seven-part FREE Fortville Summer Concert Series on Thursday July 26th at 7:00 p.m. in historic Landmark Park, downtown Fortville. This concert will be dedicated to area businesses–who will be recognized from the stage, and are encouraged to attend with their employees and families.
